About us
Print n Sign is located in Roodepoort on the West Rand of Gauteng, Johannesburg, South Africa. We do digital and litho printing and digital and cut vinyl signage.
We are also print brokers for a number of products and can therefore supply at very competitive prices.
It all started as a hobby in 1992.
We were one of the first businesses in town to buy an HP 500C Colour Printer and Corel Draw 2.
After learning to do the basic graphic designs and printing it we started marketing everything we could print on the printer; business cards (on thin, ink absorbable card!), letterheads, compliment slips, brochures, flyers etc. Anything in full colour and small quantities we knew a litho machine could not match in price
The business flourished and we bought a large house in a modern suburb, near our children's school and all the while we were using the most basic and cheapest technology available to do business with.
We called ourselves MiniPrint.
This went on until 1998, when Tom decided to quit working for a boss and went into the print and design business full time
Beginning 2007 we decided to start a signage business as well. Although start up costs were high and a few loans had to be made, the business is growing steadily and we are proud to be able to deliver an outstanding service to our clients.
